Harvest is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
During the Great Breakout, the Terran Federation began to search for a new breadbasket world to colonize.
Their search led them to a planet known as Harvest, which initial surveys found to be rich in natural resources and soil. The colony ship SS Legacy was soon sent with 300 colonists on board. Within a few months, the colonists arrived and established a settlement which became known as Harvest colony.
The additional years of the Great Breakout led to the colonies growth with contact with various species as well as many other colonies being established. The food grown on Harvest helped to supply several budding colonies with rations and supplies which would lead to the growth of Harvest and several other colonies. The discovery of rich minerals in Harvests asteroid belt and mountains led to mining and manufacturing industries of the colony.
These discoveries led to Harvest becoming a prosperous staple colony and a growth in the colonies population. By 2627, the colony had a population of 300 Million people, with less than 50% being non-human. The colony was also caught up in the Sports Renaissance, with the establishment of the baseball, basketball, hockey and football leagues as well as its own wrestling league.
